On December 18, 2007, a memorial meeting was held in New Delhi to honour the life and work of Comrade Shiv Kumar Mishra.

The meeting was organized by CPI-ML (New Proletarian). It was attended by leaders and members of a number of communist parties and groups.

Comrade Sheomangal Siddhantkar, Chairman of the Peoples Front, chaired the meeting. Those who addressed the meeting included Comrade Prakash Rao spokesperson of the Communist Ghadar Party of India, Comrade Arjun Prasad of the PDFI, Suresh Salil, the Editor of “From Kakori to Naxalbari”, Prof Prem Singh of Delhi University, Comrade PK Shahi of the CPI-ML, Comrade OK Yadav, Comrade Ramji Yadav, and Comrade Sunil of the RDF. The meeting was concluded by Comrade Naresh Gupta, Chariman of the Delhi branch of the Peoples Front.
