People's Voice angrily condemns the terrorist attack on pilgrims from all across India at the holy sufi shrine of Kwaja Moinuddin Chishti at Ajmer Sharif. At this shrine where people of all religions come to pray, thousands of people were just breaking their day long Ramzaan fast after sunset, when a bomb exploded in their midst. At least two people are reported killed and dozens injured, many grievously. Mazdoor Ekta Lehar/Peoples Voice conveys its heartfelt sympathies to the families of those killed and injured.

The government must be roundly condemned for these repeated terrorist attacks. It is also deliberately spreading disinformation through “leaks” by its intelligence agencies, claiming that this or that group is responsible for the attacks. People have to retain great vigilance in a situation where the real hand behind the attacks is kept hidden. Terrorism is the preferred weapon used by the reactionary ruling circles here and the world over, to divide the unity of the people and divert their struggles. The terrorist strike in Ajmer Sharif, just two days before Id, with Dusshera, Durga Puja and Diwali to follow soon, is a warning that the enemies of the people will go to any extent to achieve their nefarious ends. We must thwart their diabolical motives.
