Communist School successfully held in Thane, Maharashtra

The Maharashtra Regional Committee of the Communist Ghadar Party of India organized a communist school on the subject of “Ghadar Jari Hai” on July 15, 2007 at the Thane Town Hall. Besides the comrades of the region, many school and college students and young teachers, workers, women and intellectuals participated in the school.

Addressing the school, a Party comrade presented a brief paper on the lessons of the 1857 Ghadar. Another comrade presented the historic and revolutionary aspects of 1857. The lucid presentations covered many such aspects that are not taught in the course of studying history. Inspired by the presentation, many participants raised questions like – Why is nothing written about the ghadrites today? Why did the Indian kings feel the need for the British army? One of the comrades who participated declared that “That the Ghadar ki Goonj must reverberate through similar schools, meetings, workshops and many such events across the country.”
