Struggle against the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act still on

Apunba Lup and the Manipur Students Association (Delhi) organized a discussion on the struggle against the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act -AFSPA. The program saw the participation of various political activists, human rights activists, the erstwhile Chief Minster of Manipur as well as erstwhile MPs and students of Manipur. The representatives of Lok Raj Sangathan gave their full-fledged support and participated in the programme. They talked about the various programmes organized by Lok Raj Sangathan in Delhi against the AFSPA.

The state is responsible for the brutalities seen in Manipur just like in Kashmir. State terrorism is being used to crush people's movements across the country. The continuation of black laws such as the AFSPA is a crime against the Indian people. All democratic minded people have been demanding an end to such an anti-people law in any form. On the 23rd of November a hunger-strike was organized. Apunba Lup, Manipur Students Association (Delhi), Lok Raj Sangathan, Communist Ghadar Party of India, FDI, Other Media and others took part in this strike.
